The programme includes not only performance of traditional pieces and classics such as ‘Lovers’ Sorrow’, ‘Jasmine’, etc. by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, but also guided sessions on the four sections of a Chinese orchestra – bowed-string, plucked-string, wind and percussion. There will be a fun segment using ‘The Terra Cotta Warriors’ as the model and medium to take the participants into the kaleidoscopic world of Chinese music.
