Hong Kong Yeung Shing Musical Assoication

Hong Kong Yeung Shing Musical Association was established in September 1996. The Association was previous named ‘Yeung Shing Musical Association (Zhang Ru Zhu Yangqin students association)’ and was registered as ‘Hong Kong Yeung Shing Musical Association’ in August 1999. The Association aims at serving the community, inheriting and promoting Chinese music and the art of Yangqin.

The Association holds concerts with Yangqin performances as focus and makes every effort to promote Chinese culture and arts. The Association was invited to participate in the ‘8th Yangqin World Congress cum International Yangqin Arts Festival’ and had held the ‘Canton music- Hong Kong Session’ concert.

The Association is a founding member of Hong Kong Chinese Instrumental Music Association and currently a member of the Association of Chinese Culture of Hong Kong.
