IRDSA Chinese Orchestra

Established on 9 September 1998, the IRDSA Chinese Orchestra aims to promote Chinese music and to pass on Chinese traditional music and culture. On one hand, the Orchestra allows the colleagues to practice Chinese music in leisure time and achieve a balanced personal physiological development. At the same time, this can strengthen the bonding between the colleagues and boost the team spirit; on the other hand, the Orchestra can communicate with colleagues from other government departments by using music as a universal language. The Orchestra is currently a member of the Hong Kong Chinese Instrumental Association.
