Kwok Sing Orchestra

Kwok Sing Orchestra was originally formed by a Chinese Music Amateur Group and was officially registered as a non-profit organisation in 1983. The Orchestra aims to make use of the members' spare time to improve everyone's musical skills and accomplishments through regular rehearsal, so as to promote Chinese folk music.

Besides the regular self-organised concerts, the Orchestra is also invited to participate in concerts organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, associations, and schools. The orchestra also has a band training class for those who are interested in participating in the orchestra to learn about the rehearsal and performance of the orchestra. 

Since 1997, the Orchestra performs on various occasions in Hong Kong, Macau and Beijing, sponsored or supported by the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (HKFTU).
